EASY EMDR for Anxious Mothers
The comprehensive international picture of the mental health of Mothers with children or adolescents aged 5 to 17 years shows a fast growing prevalence of mental health problems, with an ever-increasing impact of those problems on families, parents, and young people themselves and the role of health services in providing assistance.

In England the figure is 1 in 6, it is higher for Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. This is consistent across many international studies. When we compare the United Kingdom to the United States of America approximately 1 in 5 adults in the U.S. a staggering 43.8 million, or 18.5% experience mental illness in a given year. Mothers with children are often at the top of this list.
This is an important signal to all families who are faced with the challenging task of helping Mothers navigate the transition from partner or wife into parenthood.
